The team is committed to working with children and their families/carers, using a range of solution-focused, strength-based relationship practice models, including Signs of Safety, Systemic theory, and the Family Finding approach. We are looking for colleagues who can help us continue to offer a unique service and truly make a difference to the young people of our county.
* Provide daily supervision to Social Workers
* Support risk management and decision-making
* Mentor colleagues and help develop their practice
* Lead on quality assurance and performance monitoring
* Chair multi-agency meetings and attend child protection conferences
The service promotes flexible working, including remote work from other bases and working from home. An exciting position has arisen for enthusiastic, well-motivated Practice Supervisors to join the Richmond Team. You will work in a team dedicated to improving outcomes for safeguarding children and supporting their families.
You should be a qualified Social Worker (DIPSW, CQSW, Masters, or Degree in Social Work), ideally with supervisory or management experience. You need to demonstrate strong skills and knowledge aligned with the job specification.
