Position Summary
AWS Cloud Engineer – 6‑month initial contract, £450‑500k Inside IR35, onsite 2 days per week – Cambridge.
Role Overview
My client is looking for someone to join their platform team to help with Infrastructure modernisation. You will be supporting both on‑prem VMware environments & AWS Cloud services.
Key Requirements
* Manage and optimise AWS services, especially EC2, EBS, IAM basics, and Security Groups.
* Support and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including patching and performance issues.
* Work on improving and automating the hosting platform across hybrid setups.
* Collaborate with cloud, network, and security teams to maintain stable, secure services.
* Bring strong experience in VMware/vSphere, Windows Server, and hybrid troubleshooting, with bonus skills in Linux, NSX, and automation tools.
