Position Summary

You will be a key member of the Digital Medicine team, shaping the strategy and delivery of digital tools that support the development and safe use of medicines. You will work across research, clinical development, regulatory, data science and commercial teams. This role offers growth, high impact and the chance to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.


Responsibilities

* Define and lead digital medicine strategies for clinical programs and studies across Respiratory, Immunology and Inflammation.
* Guide cross‑functional teams to design, develop and validate digital biomarkers, endpoints and measures to inform internal decision‑making.
* Identify connected‑device and other digital medicine solutions, including AI opportunities, that can make GSK’s clinical trials more efficient, cost‑effective and patient‑centric.
* Collaborate with clinical development, regulatory, safety and data teams to ensure scientific and regulatory rigor for digital medicine approaches.
* Identify, engage and oversee external partnerships to accelerate capability and delivery.
* Upskill clinical study teams and the wider GSK organization on digital medicine solutions.
* Champion pragmatic evidence generation and implementation plans to enable adoption by clinical teams and health systems.


Basic Qualifications

* Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD) or equivalent experience in life sciences, clinical research, biomedical engineering, data science or a related discipline.
* Experience in clinical development, digital health, translational medicine or related fields.
* Demonstrated experience leading digital medicine, digital health product development, or digital biomarker programs.
* Proven track record of working across complex, matrixed organizations and influencing senior stakeholders.
* Experience with regulatory interactions or submissions involving digital endpoints, software as a medical device, or related topics.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary matrix teams, including scientists, clinicians, engineers and data scientists.
* Excellent communication skills, with strong influencing and senior stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications

* Strong scientific and medical understanding of Respiratory, Immunology and/or Inflammation Therapy Areas with experience designing or operating clinical trials in these areas.
* Experience with real‑world evidence, remote clinical trials or decentralized trial approaches.
* Knowledge of clinical validation methods for digital biomarkers and familiarity with relevant guidance from major health authorities.
* Strong product management experience or experience translating scientific concepts into user‑centered products.
* Experience with device connectivity, mobile apps, wearables, sensors or interoperable health data standards.
* Well‑developed project management skills, including handling vendors, budgets, timelines and risks.


Compensation and Benefits

Base salary and total rewards are commensurate with the role, location and experience. Ranges for the US market are available in the application portal. The position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in GSK’s share‑based long‑term incentive program. Additional benefits include health care and other insurance, retirement benefits, paid holidays and parental leave.
