Sanderson are working with a growing, technology-led SaaS organisation that is investing heavily in secure, scalable platforms that support thousands of users globally. As part of their continued product evolution, they are looking for a Mid-Level .NET Engineer with strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and modern authentication standards.
You'll join an Agile development team working on authentication and user identity services that underpin core platform functionality. Security is a key priority for this organisation, and they are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about building secure, robust, and scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain authentication and authorisation services using .NET
Write clean, scalable C# code following secure software engineering principles
Implement and support modern authentication protocols across the platform
Collaborate with engineers and architects to design secure system architecture
Contribute to improving system security, resilience, and performance
Test, deploy, refactor, and optimise applications across the SDLC
Act as a subject matter contributor within IAM and authentication services
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a .NET / C# Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with .NET and ASP.NET
Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT
Strong interest in security and secure-by-design engineering practices
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a salary up to £50,000 (DOE), with hybrid working.
