The role could become permanent for the right person Description Process and manage a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Manual processing Supporting with improving processes Excel work - spreadsheets and working with large data sets Assist in preparing payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records. Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to address queries. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain an organised filing system for all financial documentation. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function. Profile A Successful Accounts Payable (AP) Professional Should Have Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar accounting role. Be used to working in a fast paced role with a high volume environment A keen interest and track record with technology/ systems - there is a big drive to modernise process and make efficiencies Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams. An understanding of financial regulations applicable to the FMCG industry. Job Offer A fixed-term contract with a salary range of £30,000 to £38,000 per annum.
