We are seeking a Scientist to join our Pre-formulation and Preclinical Services team, supporting key projects within Product Development.

Key roles and responsibilities:
4. Supporting Preformulation and Preclinical services team to characterise lead compounds and provide an assessment of the developability of drug candidates.
5. To support development of appropriate Preclinical formulations for animal studies via several routes of administration.
6. To support assessment of solubility in a variety of Biorelevant media and buffers.
7. To support characterise the physical and chemical interactions of APIs with formulation excipients.
8. To support formulate APIs into conventional and enabling dosage forms for oral administration in preclinical models.
9. To support characterisation of physical attributes of APIs and formulated dosage forms.
Requirements:
10. Degree or equivalent and in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or Chemistry related discipline
11. Pharmaceutical drug product development knowledge
12. Knowledge/experience in solubility determination, stability, XRPD, DSC, TGA, DVS, Microscopy, PSD, HPLC, and up-to-date knowledge of other analytical methodologies.
13. Experience working to GLP and GMP
14. Excellent communication skills
