Nursery Manager
Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands
Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week, all year round
Salary: £31,711.68 (higher salary considered for the right candidate)
Smart Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager on behalf of a welcoming nursery setting in Stourbridge.

About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of a busy 60-place nursery, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and early years education are consistently maintained.
You will lead and inspire the nursery team, support staff development, and create a positive and engaging environment for both children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the nursery team
Oversee the daily operations of the nursery
Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding standards
Support and mentor staff through coaching and development
Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Drive continuous improvement and outstanding practice within the setting

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a Nursery Manager or senior leadership role
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education
Relevant childcare qualification
A proactive, caring, and team-focused approach
