Job Summary Edenfield Road Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and experienced GP to join our friendly and supportive team in Rochdale. The role involves working 4 sessions per week, Mondays and Fridays. This is a fixed‑term ARRS position with the possibility of extension if funding continues.

Responsibilities The main duty is to provide a General Practitioner service to our patients in line with the GP contract and person specification.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
Fully qualified GP eligible to work in NHS General Practice
MBBS or equivalent medical degree
Current UK professional registration
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience in primary care and knowledge of GMS contract / QOF
Experience with National and Local Enhanced Services
Experience with EMIS electronic medical record system
Experience supporting FY2 doctors and medical students
Experience with the BeCCoR incentive scheme

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to formulate treatment plans and evaluate progress
Active listening and non‑judgemental patient interaction
