Responsibilities
1. Undertake pre-works site assessments and inspections
2. Recommend and validate sites suitable for surface treatments
3. Measure, mark out, and prepare patching requirements
4. Support the planning and coordination of maintenance programmes
5. Liaise with contractors and stakeholders throughout project delivery
6. Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, and specification compliance
7. Assist with contract administration, permits, CDM documentation, and progress meetings
8. Maintain accurate records and evidence files for asset management purposes
9. Support winter service operations when required (experience not essential)

Essential Requirements
14. Relevant experience in highway maintenance and surface treatment operations
15. Strong understanding of surface dressing, micro asphalt, slurry surfacing, or similar preventative treatments
16. Experience undertaking site inspections, quality checks, and contractor oversight
17. Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work programmes
18. Good communication and stakeholder liaison skills
19. IT literacy including Microsoft Office
20. Full UK manual driving licence
21. Physically capable of undertaking site-based inspections, including extensive walking where required
