Salary: £25,131 Location: North Wales (Remote) Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (12 Months) Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 16:30 About the Opportunity We are working in partnership with a respected training provider to recruit a Trainee Assessor in Health & Social Care. The Role As a Trainee Assessor, you will support apprenticeship learners throughout their programme, helping them develop the knowledge and competencies required to achieve their Health & Social Care qualifications. You will receive support and guidance as you develop your assessing skills, while working closely with learners and employers to ensure successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, knowledge and competency-based assessment support Manage a caseload of learners, including workplace visits across a regional area Support learners through regular interaction, planning, and feedback Conduct learner progress reviews and set clear, measurable targets Develop and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) Ensure learner progress is accurately recorded and tracked Support timely achievement of learner outcomes Maintain compliance with internal quality assurance processes Plan and manage learner journeys effectively from start to completion Requirements Essential: Occupational experience within Health & Social Care Level 2 and 3 NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (Adults) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Willingness to complete a DBS check and relevant registration Desirable: Previous training or assessing experience Recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g. TAQA, CAVA, A1 or equivalent) Welsh language skills Benefits 30 days annual leave (increasing with service) Healthcare scheme 35-hour working week Retail and gym discounts Profit-sharing scheme Life insurance Employee recognition programmes Structured training and development support Additional Information Our client is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
