Are you a recent graduate considering a career in teaching or education?
Working in a secondary school is one of the best ways to gain hands-on classroom experience before committing to teacher training. We are currently supporting several schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast who are looking for graduates to join them in a variety of classroom-based roles.
Available Roles:
Cover Supervisor
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Manage classroom behaviour and support learning
* Ideal experience for those considering PGCE / teacher training
Teaching Assistant
* Support students in lessons and small groups
* Work closely with teachers to help pupils access learning
* Great for developing classroom and behaviour management skills
Learning Support Mentor
* Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils
* Help students with engagement, confidence, and wellbeing
* Particularly suited to graduates interested in SEND, pastoral care, or psycholog
Who We're Looking For
* Recent graduates (any subject welcome)
* A genuine interest in education and working with young people
* Confident, reliable, and proactive individuals
* Strong communication skills
* Previous experience with children or young people is beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
