The At Risk Mental State (ARMS) service is a multidisciplinary community mental health service for young people and adults aged 14 to 35 that provides treatment and support to people experiencing or at high risk of developing psychosis. It offers individual therapy, family intervention, education/employment support, psychosocial support, and training to promote recovery and social inclusion, with a preventative information and intervention focus.

Responsibilities
The post supports the ARMS service’s aims to promote recovery and social inclusion through peer-based activity and lived experience expertise. Responsibilities include contributing to person-centered planning, facilitating recovery-oriented activities, and working with colleagues to provide psychosocial support, education, and empowerment to service users and their families.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Must have lived experience of mental health challenges and be able to use this experience to empower others.
* Demonstrated commitment to peer support and collaborative working in a community mental health setting.
