Job Role
Join us as a part of our bid team in this new role of Bid Manager where you'll deliver high-quality bids on time and within budget. Working as part of our wider Strategy & Growth function, you'll define win-themes for each bidding opportunity and ensure our bid writers have a full understanding of the themes and solutions.
Our successful candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to quickly understand complex operational delivery models and different commercial/funding models.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary range £45,000 to £55,000 pa (dependent on experience) with great benefits:

Hours: 37 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities
* Lead research, writing, preparation, and submission of high-quality bids and proposals in line with growth strategy, including bid management and writing duties
* Manage bid progression through governance processes
* Facilitate bid-related meetings
* Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships team to optimize success chances
* Contribute to developing new delivery ideas and service models
* Work with the Head of Bid Management to define and articulate win themes
* Ensure bid writers understand and effectively communicate these themes
Skills and Experience
* Degree level education or equivalent experience
* Excellent project management skills; qualification desirable
* At least 2 years' experience in bid management
* Proven success in securing high-value government or commercial contracts
* Understanding of the national and political context relevant to Employability, Skills, and Justice
* Experience in solution design processes
* Ability to interpret and communicate complex specifications from multiple commissioners
