Pay starts from £12.45 per hour, increasing to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is Tesco policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; roles with fewer hours (minimum 12) are also available.

Availability and hours
Availability windows are shown in the table. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within these times, with 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. We aim to be flexible and understand that your availability may not match exactly; we’d still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride
* Being knowledgeable about store products and services
* Working across service, picking and replenishment areas as required
* Applying training to work safely and effectively
* Making decisions that meet customer needs and delivering timely routines
* Participating in seasonal, community and charity events
* Understanding store performance and contributing to service, sales, waste reduction and profitability
* Handling products with care to maintain quality
* Representing Tesco values and policies
* Occasionally accepting store deliveries
