We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our team within Vistry Southern, at our office in Basingstoke, Hampshire. As our Engineering Manager, you will:
1. Lead and supervise all engineering design functions and land investigations.
2. Maintain a portfolio of well-considered development sites in line with company procedures.
3. Manage external consultants producing site development drawings, ensuring approvals from authorities to maximize development potential.
4. Work closely with Land, Commercial, and Operational teams for efficient technical delivery.

In return, we expect you to:

* Have proven civil engineering experience, especially in residential housing
* Be proficient in site layout, utility design, and regulatory approvals
* Hold a full UK driving license and extensive civil engineering experience (7+ years)
* Possess strong management, technical understanding, and communication skills
Desirable qualifications include:
* Professional civil engineering qualification (Degree, HND, HNC)
* Membership of a professional body (ICE, IStructE, CABE)
* Experience with AutoCAD, Civils3D, Revit, and surface water drainage strategies
