About The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Heritage Consultant to join the York Archaeology team in Nottingham (formerly Trent and Peak Archaeology).
York Archaeology is the trading name for the delivery of commercial archaeological services for York Archaeological Trust (YAT). The Trust combines world famous heritage attractions, with excavation, survey, consultancy, expert conservation services, research and an unmatched commitment to dissemination, engagement and public benefit.
We are building on the vision that led from the Coppergate excavation to the JORVIK Viking Centre, DIG, and the annual Viking Festival, with a pioneering spirit of innovation to deliver benefits from archaeology and cultural heritage.
To help in our mission we are looking for a Heritage Consultant with the character and skills to deliver
commercial contracts cost-effectively and to the satisfaction of clients. We are looking for someone who also has the ambition and drive to use this platform of discovery to help build the connections to secure positive social impacts through our shared heritage.
If you feel you have demonstrable relevant experience and skills, or indeed untapped potential and are ready for a change, get in touch and explore the possibilities.
