About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Crisis Recovery Worker to join our dynamic, growing team at our Ashford Safe Haven.
Ashford Safe Haven delivers an out of hours crisis alternative service to people struggling with their mental health. We offer person-centred emotional support and guidance to individuals who access our service. We seek experienced and compassionate individuals to provide high-quality, recovery-focused support to clients with diverse mental health needs, including learning disabilities, physical health issues, and substance misuse, while promoting independence and social inclusion.
About you:
To succeed, you will need a minimum Level 3 qualification in health and social care or equivalent. You should demonstrate experience in:
* Assessing situations to determine risks and support needs.
* Making decisions under pressure and communicating effectively with support recipients.
* Accurately recording contacts, visits, and calls on electronic systems.
* Working in line with performance targets and contractual requirements, providing data and case studies as needed.
* Participating in individual risk assessments and reviews.
* Developing and implementing action and safety plans tailored to individual needs.
* Encouraging individuals to understand and manage factors affecting their mental wellbeing and physical health.
* Collaborating with partners and external agencies to meet individual needs and ensure safety.
