The Role
As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator, you will manage the OCI services deployed in the customer landscape. You should have knowledge of OCI services beyond Compute, Storage, and Network.
Key Responsibilities
* Configure, manage and support various OCI compute environments, including OS‑level administration of all virtual machines.
* Configure, manage and support OCI storage services and associated security setups, including backup, recovery, and replication operations.
* Configure, manage and support OCI network components covering VCNs, network firewall, WAF and connectivity to on‑premise data center via FastConnect or S‑2‑S VPN setups.
* Configure, manage and support Oracle Cloud High Availability and Disaster Recovery setups for OCI services including Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Databases, Oracle Integration Cloud environments.
* Configure, manage and support Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) setups, including SSO federation with identified IDPs and SPs in the customer landscape.
* Collaborate with security architects, DBAs, and application support leads to address and fix identified vulnerabilities.
* Manage the complete infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible toolsets.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience
* Hands‑on experience with configuration and management of OCI network services and components covering different OCI VCN topologies, gateways, route tables, and security lists.
* Hands‑on experience with Oracle Enterprise Linux administration activities, including patch management, storage, and network configurations.
* Hands‑on experience managing services like OCI IAM, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud security setups.
* Expertise in Terraform and Ansible toolsets.
* Experience with Oracle SaaS environments and PaaS services integrations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
* Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
