Vacancy: Midday Assistant at Yew Tree Primary School
The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant at Yew Tree Primary School, located on Yew Tree Lane, Dukinfield, SK16 5BJ.
Start Date: June 2025 to 31st August 2026.
Salary: Full-time salary of £23,656, part-time, 6.25 hours per week, Term Time Only, with an actual salary of £3,515 (TMBC Grade A, Points 2).

Role Overview
Join the midday team at Yew Tree Primary School. The ideal candidate will:
1. Be available during term-time, working over the school lunch period.
2. Be enthusiastic about promoting healthy lifestyles among children.
3. Wish to positively influence young people.
4. Act as a caring, inclusive role model.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise children in the dinner hall, playground, and classrooms during wet weather.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with children.
* Engage children in various play activities.
* Administer basic first aid and manage sickness in accordance with training provided. Report and record accidents as per health & safety procedures.
* Apply positive behaviour management techniques to ensure a safe and enjoyable lunchtime for all children.
