Role and Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality care and support to our clients in their homes. Your responsibilities include:
* Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
* Supporting clients with mobility and ensuring their safety.
* Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks.
* Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful activities.
* Following individual care plans and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided.
Qualifications and Experience
No prior care experience required; we welcome those new to the sector or considering a career change.
* Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, punctual and committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
* Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle preferred due to rural locations of clients.
* Must live within a 20‑mile travel distance of SN9 postcode.
* Ability to work in at least one of the areas we cover: Devizes, Pewsey, Marlborough, Andover, Amesbury, Tidworth and surrounding villages.
* Right to work in the UK required.

Pay
£12.70 per Care hour on completing your Care Certificate. Paid for time spent travelling additional to 45p per mile. Opportunities for overtime and additional benefits.
