Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Branch Director to lead our Lincoln branch and drive its continued success. As the senior leader at branch level, the Branch Director will have overall accountability for all aspects of branch performance, including delivery of the local P&L, growth through retention, cross-sales, and new business, and ensuring the team is equipped to deliver exceptional results. This is a pivotal leadership role, setting the tone for performance, behaviour, and culture across the branch.
Responsibilities
* Provide strong, effective leadership of the branch, driving and implementing regional strategy
* Oversee all aspects of branch trading, identifying opportunities, challenges, and market trends
* Deliver the best customer outcomes in line with Consumer Duty requirements
* Lead risk management and quality assurance, ensuring compliance and effective monitoring
* Collaborate with the Regional Director to remove barriers to growth and share best practices
* Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through meaningful MI
Key Accountabilities
* Trading & Growth
* Own and deliver all financial performance across the branch
* Contribute to regional development plans and placement strategies
* Promote cross-selling and support the “Untold is Unsold” initiative
* Ensure product and proposition suitability in line with market trends
* Work with local teams to execute strategic business plans
* Risk, Governance & Compliance
* Maintain systems and controls to manage risk and meet regulatory obligations
* Ensure employee conduct and competency aligns with FCA and company standards
* Act as an FCA Certified person and uphold Consumer Duty principles
* Stakeholder Management
* Build strong relationships across the region and wider platform
* Maintain effective communication with clients, insurers, and suppliers
* Lead change initiatives and foster shared ownership of outcomes
* People Leadership
* Inspire and motivate the branch team to deliver strategic goals
* Support career development through training, coaching, and succession planning
* Ensure timely and high-quality people management practices
* Drive recruitment, retention, and workforce planning
* Financial Governance
* Deliver agreed revenue and EBITDA targets
* Embed cost efficiency and commercial thinking across the branch
* Maintain strong financial controls and ensure spend aligns with DAF
* Culture & Behaviours

What We’re Looking For
* Proven leadership experience in a senior commercial or insurance role
* Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Deep understanding of risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
