What Youll Be Doing
* Championing quality and compliance across all electrical works keeping us in line with BS7671:2018, Electricity at Work Regulations, HSE, and internal CCS standards.
* Reviewing and verifying electrical certificates and reports accuracy is key!
* Performing quality control inspections (10% sample checks) on work by both in-house teams and contractors.
* Carrying out site audits and competency assessments to ensure professional standards are consistently met.
* Representing CCS at the annual NICEIC assessment be our expert voice!
* Tackling both reactive and planned electrical works.
* Managing a calibration schedule for all testing equipment.
* Keeping our team up to date with the latest 18th Edition and MCS amendments through toolbox talks and technical bulletins.
* Supporting staff training by maintaining the Compliance departments training matrix.
* Leading PAT testing annually for our offices and large sites.
* Offering technical input for project surveys and helping the Estimating team with design reviews.
* Onboarding and inducting new team members shaping the next generation of sparks!
* Working closely with our admin team to keep projects running like clockwork.

What You Bring to the Table
* Fully qualified through an Approved Electrical Apprenticeship
* SVQ Level 3 with AM2, FICA Certification
* City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/5) Inspection & Testing
* City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition or later
* City & Guilds 2377 PAT Testing
Your Experience & Skills
* Solid track record in Social Housing electrical projects, from large-scale installations to compliance checks.
* Deep understanding of current electrical safety and compliance regulations.
* Confident in analysing test results and producing accurate reports.
* Comfortable using IT tools especially Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
* Willing to travel across different sites as needed.
