This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Simulator Technician looking to take the next step into a formal leadership role whilst remaining hands‑on and technically involved.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you'll act as the technical lead on shift and be responsible for the operational performance and availability of multiple Full Flight Simulators.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading simulator maintenance activities
* Diagnosing and rectifying complex electrical, electronic, hardware and software faults
* Performing preventative and corrective maintenance
* Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and technicians
* Monitoring simulator performance and Qualification Test Guide (QTG) results
* Managing maintenance records and technical documentation
* Supporting testing, validation and workshop activities
* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements
* Working closely with instructors, flight crews and customers to minimise downtime
What We’re Looking For
* Significant experience within simulator maintenance
* Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills
* Experience working with electrical, electronic, avionics or other complex technical systems
* Previous experience acting as a senior, lead or go‑to engineer within a team
* Ability to support and develop junior team members
* Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
Experience working on Boeing and Airbus simulators, particularly B737 and A320 devices, would be highly advantageous.
