Role Introduction Manage and develop existing Accounts. They are a mixture of outsourced SaaS, managed hosting, and full IT outsourcing accounts. Key Responsibilities• Develop and maintain a key account plan (KAM) to achieve individual sales target• To manage Advanced's account management sales process from initial opportunity through to the securing of the client purchase order and ensure a successful transition into Advanced operations • Pro-actively generate and close new business opportunities, through the existing Advanced client base• Develop multi-level relationships within the account• The ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally will be a key part to your success, so you must be able to demonstrate a range of influencing styles and techniques• Maintain a high level of understanding of the Advanced managed service sales value proposition and to be able to present these in context to the client need• The Account Director plays an essential team-leading role, delegating projects and monitoring workflow• Carry out effective business meetings with existing clients/prospects including; meeting preparation, agenda setting, meeting management, specify client needs, understand client pains, articulate case studies and anecdotes, differentiate from the competition when challenged, and create solutions aligned to the customer's business challenges and close to the next stage• Produce sales proposals and deliver sales presentations, providing accurate and timely sales forecast information to the Head of Account Management and Sales Director when required• To develop and maintain knowledge and experience of relevant IT technologies and services• Ability to manage client expectations to ensure that Advanced is able to deliver the required levels of service• To be aware of and comply with Advanced's ITIL and ISO accreditations• To adhere to the company Environmental Policy and procedures and to ensure that Environmental impacts are minimised• Additional duties require advising senior management on the progress of accounts, monitoring budgets and profits What You Will Do As an Account Manager, you will manage relationships across a complex portfolio Manage the sales cycle from initial opportunity through to close Actively generate and close opportunities within the existing customer base Provide accurate sales forecasts for any given month or year Develop and maintain account plans to achieve individual sales target What You Will Have Account Managers will have strong negotiation and closing skills A proven track-record of success in B2B new business sales within a complex client portfolio Effective communication and time management skills Successful candidates will participate in a one-month intensive boot camp to learn about our products, markets, and commercial strategy.
