Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll help to identify and convert new opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s ongoing success. The Role You’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of regional business development plans, implementing creative initiatives, and helping to drive revenue growth across a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities Assist in delivering the firm’s long-term growth strategy Support the implementation of business development initiatives that enhance revenue and market presence Identify and nurture new business and cross-selling opportunities within existing and prospective client relationships Research market trends and monitor competitor activity to inform business development strategies Represent the firm at networking and industry events, contributing valuable market insight Build and maintain productive relationships with intermediaries and external contacts to generate new leads Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and open new opportunities Manage and maintain business development pipelines, including CRM updates and reporting Help coordinate and deliver campaigns, events, webinars, and client engagement activities Work alongside marketing, digital, and PR teams to ensure cohesive and impactful business development initiatives About You Proven experience in a business development or client relationship role within a professional services or commercial setting Sound understanding of the UK corporate, mid-market, and SME landscape Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels Strategic mindset with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to identifying new business routes Confident working with senior leaders and supporting cross-functional projects Strong organisational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail Proficient in CRM systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics), Microsoft Office, and digital collaboration tools Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce engaging and accurate materials This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic professional to join a respected organisation that values collaboration, creativity, and professional growth
