Overview
Principal EC&I Engineer sought by Certain Advantage on behalf of an established Engineering client for contract roles to support important Nuclear projects in the UK.
Responsibilities
* Serve as Lead Engineer overseeing design reviews, technical discussions, and formal evaluations.
* Mentor team members, set clear objectives, and promote a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications / Background
* Working knowledge of BS EN 60909 Fault Calculations
* Working knowledge of power distribution modelling software
* Experience with Protection and control systems (11kV & 400V)
* Experience of 11kV & 400V substation design
* Experience of unit protection calculations (differential & high-impedance schemes)
