To help us recruit social workers who are committed to working in Middlesbrough we are currently offering a 10% supplement to social work salaries, which will be reviewed at the end of March 2027. The Older people’s community mental health team based at Woodside provides a social work service for Older People with Mental health issues, a diagnosed dementia and Adults diagnosed with early onset dementia in the Middlesbrough area, working with service users and their carers. We are currently seeking to recruit a Social Worker, this post is a permanent position within a busy community older persons mental health team. The successful applicant will: Have a degree in social work Have experience in adult social care Be able to work autonomously and be a team player Have sound assessment skills Be adaptable to change Be able to work in a busy environment and to tight time scales Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Be committed to multi-disciplinary working Our team offers regular supervision and appraisal, excellent training opportunities and strong team identity.
