Offer description

Part of the team delivering University transition activities, this role is key in the delivery of the first year of our Future Skills programme, Navigate. The role involves designing and delivering a range of resources and activities that help students transition into and through higher education, develop a foundational knowledge of the Kingston graduate attributes, understand themselves better and prepare for further stages of the Future Skills programme. Additionally, it will support with the planning and delivery of other key transition-focused deliverables.


The Person


The ideal candidate is a dynamic and innovative professional with a passion for supporting students' transition and development. They excel at designing engaging, inclusive and flexible resources and sessions, contextualised within different areas of study and tailored to diverse learning preferences. They will have a strong command of modern teaching methods and interactive technologies and their strong interpersonal abilities allow them to develop rapport and engage students, addressing behavioural challenges tactfully. Their exceptional organisational skills enable them to manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring high-quality outcomes without compromising on detail.

Directorate/Function


The Students' Directorate key aim within the strategy is to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for all current and future students to ensure they are "sought after", supporting their participation, attainment, and success before, during and after their time at Kingston. This in turn will create a culture of high performance that is inclusive, innovative, ambitious and enterprising.

This role is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £39,407 per annum.
