SEN Teacher – Secondary Schools (Basingstoke)

Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (paid to scale)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with secondary schools in Basingstoke to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher for a full-time position, starting as soon as possible.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to secondary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Plan and adapt teaching to meet a wide range of additional learning needs
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and wider school staff
* Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with pupils with SEN or additional needs (desirable but not essential)
* Strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach to teaching
Safeguarding Requirements:
* An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
