Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £60,000- £70,000 per annum + Benefits (Senior) £70,000-£80,000 per annum (Principal)
Location: Warrington or Cumbria
Hours of work: Up to 40 Hours Per Week
Ideally applicants should also have:
• Ability to confidently liaise with external stakeholders and team members, both oral and written.
• Ability to independently seek out or develop ones own answer to challenging technical questions.
• Ability to organise ones own time and the time of others to ensure internal/external deadlines are achieved and Client expectations are exceeded.
• Minimum qualifictaion for this role is an HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical or control engineering or similar engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years profesional engineering/technical specialist experience.
• Experienced in interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
• Previous experience in a Nuclear Site or highly regulated site.
• Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
• Familiarity with AutoCad design.
• Familiarity with BIM enabled projects.
Able to gain SC Clearance is required
Role information:
The senior EC&I engineer will be responsible for supporting the principal EC&I engineer in delivering one or more design projects or leading small EC&I project tasks with the support of other engineers. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
As a EC&I Engineer at, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include:
• Delivering design project deliverables. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
• Producing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision.
• Be responsible for the coordination, planning and delivery of designs in accordance with the required standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project.
