We’re looking for a highly organised, ideally multi-lingual, and people-focused Player Services Executive to help provide outstanding support to our HotelPlanner Tour members, both on and off the course. Working closely with players, their management teams, promoters, media, and tournament officials, you’ll play a key role in shaping a seamless tournament experience for our Members throughout the season. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and takes pride in delivering high-quality service under pressure. Please note there is extensive travel with this role to support approximately 15 events per season.
About The Role
The Player Services Executive supports the Senior Player Services Manager in ensuring all HotelPlanner Tour members receive first‑class service. You will manage the daily operation of the HotelPlanner Tour Player Portal, coordinate clear and timely communications to players and their teams, and provide essential on‑site support at approximately 15 tournaments per season.
This role is hands‑on, wide‑ranging and central to the player experience. You will be a trusted point of contact for players, help coordinate media and promotional activities, manage accreditation processes, and collaborate with multiple internal and external partners to uphold the Tour’s professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Player Support & Communications
* Oversee and maintain the HotelPlanner Tour Player Portal, ensuring all tournament information is accurate and up to date.
* Act as the primary contact for HotelPlanner Tour portal‑related queries.
* Prepare and distribute timely player communications aligned with the approved Messaging Framework.
New Member Onboarding
* Lead the onboarding process for new Ranked Members.
* Provide guidance and resources to help new players understand Tour processes and expectations.
* Work closely with the Senior Player Services Manager to integrate newly qualified players before and during the season.
On‑site Tournament Support – Travel
* Attend approximately 15 HotelPlanner Tour events per season acting as the main point of contact for players.
* Proactively resolve on‑site player queries and collaborate with Tournament Directors and Promoters.
* Produce post‑event reports with recommendations to enhance player services at future tournaments.
* Support at other European Tour Group events where required.
Media & Promotional Coordination
* Coordinate player involvement in media activities, interviews and promotional features.
* Work with event Promoters to facilitate player appearances (e.g., pro‑ams, sponsor engagements).
* Provide recommendations to the media team on players or storylines to highlight.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
* Build strong relationships with event Promoters, sponsors and venue partners.
* Work collaboratively across departments to uphold the Tour’s “one team” philosophy and enhance the player experience.
Accreditation Oversight
* Manage the full accreditation process for the HotelPlanner Tour.
* Ensure players, staff and authorised personnel receive required credentials promptly.
Invite Requests & Administration
* Oversee the HotelPlanner Tour invites inbox.
* Liaise with the HotelPlanner Tour Director and ensure timely responses to enquiries.
Additional Support & Projects
* Contribute to wider departmental initiatives and cross‑functional projects that support the Tour’s strategic aims.
Essential
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Outstanding verbal communication and excellent written communication skills.
* Exceptional relationship‑building skills with the ability to engage confidently with players, management teams and senior stakeholders.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Strong understanding of the game of golf and the structure of the professional golf ecosystem.
* A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments.
* Proactive, resilient and comfortable working in high‑pressure, fast‑paced event environments.
* Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods during the season.
* Proficiency in at least one additional language beyond English.
Desirable
* Previous experience working in professional sports events, ideally within golf.
