Technical Buyer – Leeds/Hybrid - £40,000 + CIPS Study Support

As a Technical Buyer, you will manage key supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely procurement of essential component spares. The business offers fantastic development opportunities and a full funded CIPS qualification which will help drive your career forward.

Working Hours: 37 Hours per week (Flexi time)
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage procurement activities and supplier negotiations to secure quality, cost-efficient and timely supplies
* Identify and develop sustainable sources of supply that support the long-term goals of the business
* Ensure supplier contracts meet quality, cost and regulatory standards, while adhering to all relevant requirements
* Work closely with engineering teams to manage obsolescence issues and ensure high-quality supplies
* Analyse supplier performance and implementing strategies for improvement to enhance supply chain efficiency
Background & Experience:
* Experience working within a technical engineering environment (Engineering/Rail/Aerospace/Electronics etc)
* Strong experience in procurement and supplier management, with a proven track record of successful negotiations
