Position: Framework Manager – Nuclear & Defence

As a Framework Manager, you'll be the key liaison for framework activities on our client’s site, ensuring seamless collaboration, strategic alignment, and operational excellence across multi-million-pound projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight & Relationship Building
* Act as the primary point of contact for all framework-related queries
* Foster strong relationships with the client and collaborate closely with the Key Account Manager
* Build and maintain stakeholder maps and zipper plans
Governance & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with bid and project governance frameworks
* Manage and update the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and key KPIs
* Oversee full framework lifecycle: award ➝ execution ➝ performance ➝ renewal/termination
Operational Support
* Support day-to-day operations across projects and bids
* Help align project delivery with up-to-date client intelligence and strategy
* Work with operations to deliver a framework plan that maximises value for Assystem
* Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies
* Support in resolving disputes and enforcing contractual rights
* Contribute to the development of contract management tools and templates
* Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and feedback

Qualifications
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Deep understanding of Nuclear Submarine operations
Proven experience in framework or large-scale contract management
Excellent stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship skills
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
Able to manage multiple priorities with autonomy and confidence
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
