Responsible for scheduling the cleaning, processing, treatment, and packing of seed sourced from Seed Production, as well as core suppliers and customers. In addition, the role acts as a Business Central Key User, owning the planning and operational use of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central to ensure accurate scheduling, data integrity, and effective task management. Analyse outputs from the ERP system to confirm that tasks raised correctly reflect demand and are sequenced in an efficient and logical manner. As a Key User, the role supports system optimisation, drives best practice use of Business Central within operations, and acts as a primary point of contact for system related queries, issues, and improvements. The position ensures the timely, compliant, and efficient flow of seed through quality control and processing, aligning system planning, operational execution, and data governance with commercial and regulatory requirements. What You’ll Be Doing Helping to plan and coordinate seed processing, upgrading, treatment, and packing so everything runs smoothly and meets customer needs. Using Business Central to review MRP outputs and make sure tasks are accurate, well‑sequenced, and support efficient workflows. Working closely with the supply chain and wider operations teams to ensure materials and capacity are in place for planned work. Preparing weekly production schedules and supporting the team with useful operations data. Keeping treatment and packing plans up to date and aligned with what’s happening on the ground. Acting as a go‑to person for Business Central within Operations—supporting colleagues, sharing best practice, and helping everyone get the most from the system. Liaising with teams across the business to ensure seed testing, export sampling, and compliance steps are completed accurately and on time. Contributing to improving our planning processes, tools, and documentation. What We’re Looking For Essential A good standard of Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent). Confidence using planning systems, ERP platforms (ideally Business Central), and Microsoft Office. Desirable Experience in a seasonal, agricultural, or FMCG planning environment. An interest in crop protection or seed treatments (PA1 or similar is a plus). Experience with data analysis, stock control, or report writing.
