Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Global Head of IT to lead the strategic and operational direction of our technology infrastructure across four international locations. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing a cohesive IT strategy that supports our complex global setup, enhances operational resilience, and drives our IT automation agenda.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement a global IT strategy aligned with the firm’s business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency across all locations.
* Lead the design, integration, and optimization of a unified IT infrastructure that supports cross-border operations and regulatory requirements.
* Drive the development and execution of the firm’s IT automation roadmap, including workflow digitization, system orchestration, and AI-driven efficiencies.
* Ensure robust IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks are in place and continuously improved.
* Manage the performance, integration, and accountability of outsourced IT partners and vendors, ensuring they meet the firm’s service level, security, and transformation needs.
* Oversee IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement to ensure cost-effective and value-driven outcomes.
* Build and lead a high-performing global IT ecosystem with internal and external partners, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and external partners to align technology initiatives with business needs.
Required Qualifications & Experience - Experience in the Financial Industry is a must
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role within a multi-location, complex financial services environment, preferably wealth or asset management.
* Proven track record of designing and delivering integrated IT infrastructures across jurisdictions.
* Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide automation initiatives.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance in financial services.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
Preferred Attributes
* Experience with cloud transformation and hybrid infrastructure models.
* Familiarity with wealth management platforms and client-facing technologies.
* Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
* Knowledge of Regulatory IT Requirements (e.g., ADGM, FCA, CySEC, FINMA)
* Experience Working with MSPs or Hybrid IT Models
* Understanding of WealthTech Platforms
