Hambleton Hall, renowned for fine dining and the proud possessor of the longest held, single Michelin star in the UK is looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our award-winning kitchen team.
As our Chef de Partie working in our pastry kitchen, you will bring innovation and flair to the team. Our chefs work as part of a team to impress, creating unforgettable experiences and exceeding expectations from breakfast right through to dinner and ensuring that every guest wants to return.
You will be a team player able to deal with the pressure of running a busy operation, striving for quality and perfection in every single dish.
Your day will consist of:
* Assisting our Head Chefs during service for timing and progress of all pastry dishes
* Taking ownership and ensure that the presentation, taste, texture and quality are maintained to the standards laid by the company.
* Developing your own creations, alongside demonstrating passion and pride for all dishes serviced in your section.
* Being aware of H&S and Food safety standards, ensuring due diligence checks are carried out as required.
* Understanding that cleaning and hygiene are a must and ensure your section and the overall kitchen is always spotless and well maintained.
* As a team worker you will be willing to learn and develop as well as assisting others in their learning process, sharing knowledge, passion and pride in your dishes and providing our guests with the best experiences in the industry.

Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, preferably with an establishment with a minimum of 3 rosettes
We are based on the beautiful Hambleton Peninsula, just above Rutland Water, you will need your own transport, or we have subsidised staff accommodation (dependent upon availability at the time – please let us know when you apply if this is required).
