MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an assistant to a busy QHSE team, to work in a manufacturing plant based in Ipswich. Our client is a leading organisation within their sector, with the opportunity for an environmentally or H&S qualified person to join their team.
As part of the Health and Safety team you will help to:
* Implement & maintain environmental standards
* Review & approve environmental risk assessments
* Help maintain the Environmental Agency Permits
* Help with toolbox talks & environmental training for staff & engineers
* Assisting the Environmental Manager with the Environmental Management System
* Maintain accurate files & reports
* Understand the wider legislative environment including future changes
To be considered for this role you should have:
* A relevant environmental qualification or certificate
* Experience & understanding of environmental reporting
* Experience in a manufacturing engineering or related technical sector
* Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
* A good knowledge or Word, Excel with the ability to prepare reports
