Its mission is to empower those it supports to lead their best life, enabling them the opportunity to unlock their full potential and live as independently as possible within their community.We Won Specialist Care Provider 2025! - National Care GroupThe Service Manager RoleYou will work alongside and directly supporting the Registered Manager leading the colleague team for designated services to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to the people we support in line with the Care Quality Commission/CIW regulatory requirements. NVQ or QCF Level 4/5 or equivalent in a Health and Social Care - or commitment to undertake.Level 3 award or above in Leadership and Management – or commitment to undertake.Demonstrable understanding of the principles of high-quality person-centred care and support and non-discriminatory care practice.Good understanding of the regulatory responsibilities held by the Registered Manager and the law relating to care services.Understanding of systems to maintain confidentiality in relation to individuals, staff, and the business.Excellent communication skills. Experience of building positive working relationships with people who use services and their families, staff and other health and social care professionals.Ability to plan and organise workloads effectively so individuals receive the services they expect.Excellent administrative skills and computer literacy.Experience of managing and developing an effective staff team including recruitment, training, supporting, and monitoring staff.Ability to maintain clear written and electronic records and to follow statutory reporting procedures.A UK driver's license with access to own vehicle.What's in it for you?The opportunity to develop a career in a secure and fulfilling role at an organisation that values growing its team from within.
