Role
Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Plas Cae Crwn. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference in the lives of those we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Plas Cae Crwn has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with older people in residential care.
* Flexible, patient, caring, organized, and great with people.
* Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
* Completed or working towards QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Responsibility to build strong relationships, keep family and friends welcomed, keep health care professionals well‑informed, and keep line manager up to speed with residents’ needs and progress.
* Team player, follows guidelines and policies easily, and has good written skills to write care plans.
