Company
This is a dynamic and growing renewable energy consultancy business based in London. They transform waste and pollution from production in various sectors, turning it into clean energy.
Due to continued growth and new projects, they are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant to join their finance department.
Role
The Accounts Assistant for this renewable energy business based in the London, will work closely with the Finance Manager, and own various duties across Accounts Payable and Receivable. Their key responsibilities will include:
* Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, supplier queries, payments and reconciliations.
* Oversee supplier onboarding and master data, ensuring accurate setup and bank detail verification.
* Support Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, cash posting and credit control.
* Perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances.
* Produce weekly and monthly reporting on creditors, debtors and unregistered invoices.
* Handle employee expenses and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
* Assist with treasury postings and ad hoc finance tasks as required.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Accounts Assistant position, should have the following attributes:
* 1-2 years of experience within a similar Accounts Payable position.
* Experience with bank reconciliations
* Basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient with Excel
* Studying towards a recognised qualification e.g. AAT

£32,000 to £35,000 plus benefits:
