We are recruiting for an experienced Dispatch Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Wednesbury.
This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing dispatch, route planning and logistics coordination, ensuring deliveries are organised efficiently and operational targets are achieved.
The role would suit someone from a transport, logistics, warehouse or manufacturing background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leading from the front.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing daily dispatch and transport operations
* Planning delivery routes and schedules
* Coordinating drivers and workloads
* Leading and supporting the dispatch team
* Monitoring KPIs, delivery performance and accuracy
* Working closely with production and warehouse teams
* Supporting continuous improvement across operations
Experience required:
* Previous dispatch, transport or logistics experience
* Route planning experience is essential
* Experience leading or supervising a team
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Manufacturing or warehouse background advantageous
* Good IT and administration skills
