Title: Maintenance Plumber. Requisition ID: 7622. Location: HMP Stocken, a Category C men’s prison in Rutland. Contract: Permanent long‑term facility maintenance contract with no domestic call‑outs. Salary: £30,866 to £36,135 depending on experience, plus 15% weekend allowance.

Responsibilities
* General plumbing repairs and maintenance
* Working on mains water systems
* Fault‑finding and repairing equipment
* Inspections, water sampling and basic risk assessments
* Identifying and reporting life‑expired equipment
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
* Experience in plumbing maintenance
* Full UK driving licence
* Prison security clearance – support provided during the process
* Desire for Legionella awareness – training will be provided if required
* Comfortable working in a commercial or similar environment
Working Pattern & Pay
* 39 hours per week
* One out of three weekends worked, paid with a 15% allowance on basic salary
* Salary range: £30,866 to £36,135, depending on experience
