️ Midday Supervisor – Derbyshire

Are you a caring, reliable, and proactive individual looking to support children during the school day? Teaching Personnel is working with primary and secondary schools across Derbyshire that are seeking Midday Supervisors to help provide a safe, friendly, and structured lunchtime environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community and play a key role in pupils’ wellbeing and social development.
Role Overview:
️ Supervise students during lunch in the dining hall, playground, and indoor areas
️ Support positive behaviour and ensure pupils are safe and happy during breaks
️ Assist with basic first aid or help resolving minor disputes as needed
️ Work approximately 1.5–2 hours per day, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
️ £13.90 per hour, paid weekly
Ideal Candidate Will:
✅ Be friendly, approachable, and confident supervising children
✅ Have good communication and behaviour management skills
✅ Be vigilant, responsible, and able to work independently
✅ Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (on the update service)
No formal qualifications are required – just a genuine interest in supporting children and a professional attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
