At Bilton Court, housekeepers supports a warm, safe, and comfortable environment for residents living with dementia. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness while being sensitive to the needs, routines, and wellbeing of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clean and maintain residents’ rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and laundry spaces to a high standard.
2. Handle laundry, bedding, and personal clothing with care and attention to hygiene.
3. Work in a calm, reassuring manner around residents, respecting their dignity and personal space.
4. Report any concerns about the environment or resident wellbeing to senior staff.
5. Follow infection-control procedures and health and safety guidelines.
6. Support the wider care team by helping create a homely, welcoming atmosphere.
Skills & Qualities:
7. Experience in housekeeping
8. Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Reliability, discretion, and a positive attitude.
