Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the organisation's accounting functions. Duties
* Manage and record all financial transactions using Xero
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date
* Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
* Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
* Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
* Maintain organised financial records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
* Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
* Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting activities as required
Experience
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within a professional setting
* Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, or equivalent platforms
* Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities effectively
* Previous experience with financial reporting and reconciliation processes is desirable
