This role is open to internal and external applicants.
The role
As Driver- Team Leader you will be at the heart of our waste and recycling operations, driving and operating a range of specialist collection vehicles safely, confidently and professionally. Keeping the fleet running smoothly and focus on delivering a high-quality service representing Stoke on Trent City Council.
We’re looking for colleagues who are

* Ready to take on a new challenge and develop professionally
To be eligible, you must
* Category C/LGV licence with no more than 6 points
* You must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence qualification card (Driver CPC) and undertake the required levels of training to ensure its validity
* Have driven and been wholly responsible for a wide range specialist Category C / LGV Vehicles
* Meet the DVLA’s medical fitness standards (this includes a medical assessment, particularly if over 45)
