Salary

Up to £41,000 dependent on skills and experience.

We design and manufacture a diverse range of naval ships and advanced combat systems that support complex global maritime operations. Our work spans offshore patrol vessels to the latest City Class Type 26 frigates for the UK Royal Navy, as well as major international programmes including the Australian Hunter Class and Canadian River‑Class Destroyer. Joining us means contributing to high‑impact, innovative projects within a collaborative environment. You’ll work in modern offices located alongside the production of these cutting‑edge platforms, giving you a direct connection to the engineering and technology you help bring to life.


Responsibilities and Qualifications

* Draft, review and revise a wide range of contracts while supporting negotiations under solicitor supervision.
* Have responsibility for data protection tasks, including preparing responses to data subject access requests.
* Ensure you implement and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures.
* Develop and update contract templates, guidance materials and related documentation.
* Conduct legal research and communicate clear, concise findings to the Legal team and stakeholders.
* Hold an English or Scottish legal qualification, such as a Law Degree, GDL or CILEX.
* Have paralegal or commercial contracting experience that demonstrates sound knowledge of contract law and compliance with policies and procedures.
* Have experience of data protection matters, including dealing with data subject access requests, is preferable.
* Experience of the defence or multi‑faced regulated environments is advantageous.
