About the role
As our M&E Supervisor, you will plan, co-ordinate and supervise the operational delivery of our compliance related services. This will involve (but not limited to) Landlords electrical safety in tenant’s homes, Heating servicing and breakdown management Passenger Lifts and LOLER inspections, Door Entry Systems & other bespoke equipment. Other elements of the role include:
1. Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of staff, customers and contractors at all times,
2. Ensuring service delivery complies with current regulations, contract documentation, all working standards and directives whilst driving performance management and efficiency. This may include conducting or organising on site works in progress and post quality control checks to evidence full compliance with this requirement,
3. Directing works and making decisions to ensure the safe and timely delivery of day to day, planned/cyclical works, improvement works and compliance contracts/services for the business,
4. Supporting the Mechanical, Electrical & Specialist Equipment Manager in contract/performance management, pricing, quantifying and specifying works,
5. Ensuring that the business meets its delivery plan objectives and that a safe, high quality, efficient and effective service is provided to our customers,

About you
We are looking for you to bring:
6. Experience and relevant qualifications in an Mechanical (Gas, HETAS, Renewables), Electrical discipline,
7. A relevant compliance related professional qualification and/or membership of a relevant professional body,
8. Strong contractor management of operational performance monitoring
9. Experience in a Social Housing setting
10. Proven knowledge of current property services compliance regulations,
11. Sound understanding of procurement processes, contracts, Health and Safety and risk management on different contracts and types of work,
12. An IOSH Managing Safely Award or willingness to work towards,

Contract Type: This is a fixed term contract for months due to temporary resource requirement to support service delivery.Existing CHL employees are welcome to apply as a secondment opportunity, but please discuss this with your manager before applying.
Base: Hybrid working - working from office, home, site and in the community as needed. Your base will be our main office in Chy Trevail, Bodmin, PL FR.
