This Finance Manager role plays a key part in delivering financial reporting, planning, and treasury management across the organisation. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial systems' development, while managing a finance team and supporting strategic decision-making.
Your new role
Financialernance & Risk
1. Provide expert advice on financialernance, assurance, and risk management
2. Strengthen internal controls and identify areas for improvement
3. Lead on fraud prevention, investigation support, andpliance reporting
4. Ensurepliance with regulatory, statutory, andernance requirements
Audit & Board Support
5. Act as Secretary to the Board Audit & Riskmittee (BARC)
6. Manage internal audit relationships and track audit rmendations
7. Supporternance reporting for the Board and senior leadership
Pensions & Benefits Oversight
8. Oversee pensionsernance and scheme administration
9. Provide advice on pensions policy,pliance, and reporting
10. Support life assurance and employee benefit schemes
Financial Insight & Operations
11. Deliver financial analysis and performance reporting
12. Support corporate planning and decision-making
13. Ensure effective financialernance processes across the organisation
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
14. Lead and develop the financialernance team
15. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
16. Represent the organisation inernance matters and external forums
Key skills

What you'll need to succeed
Essential criteria
21. Qualified accountant (CCAB / CIPFA)
22. Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in financial management orernance
23. Strong experience in risk management, internal controls, orpliance
24. Experience in financial reporting, monitoring, andernance frameworks
25. Excellentmunication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
26. Experience within public sector or regulated environment
27. Knowledge of pensionsernance
28. Understanding of board and auditmittee structures
