Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Band 5 children’s nurse with demonstrable post-registration experience to join our team on our 24 bedded Medical and Respiratory children’s ward, 7E. Our hospital manages a large case load of children, many having complex conditions and needs. Our specialty services include, but are not limited to, complex respiratory conditions (including non-invasive ventilation and tracheostomy care, cystic fibrosis, empyema), diabetes, haematology, endocrine, neurology and general paediatrics.
Responsibilities
* The post holder will ensure family centred care is maintained, fostering positive relationships with children and their families.
* You will also work closely with full MDT’s including consultants, physiotherapists, dieticians, general managers, pharmacists and specialist nurses including community teams.
* We offer excellent in-house development opportunities for Band 5 nurses and have a number of link role nurse opportunities available.
